If you came to almendro.cr looking for where to sign in, you will have noticed the button is no longer at the top. That is not an oversight: Almendro runs three different services, each with its own access, and the home page is now a guide that takes you to the one you need.
Three cards, three services
The first thing you see is three large cards. Each one belongs to a service and opens its site in a new tab, so the almendro.cr home page stays open behind it:
- Electronic invoicing leads to fe.almendro.cr, where invoices are issued to the Costa Rican tax authority from the portal or by connecting your own system. Its "Sign in" button opens the fe.almendro.cr sign-in directly.
- Projects leads to the almendro.cr client portal, where each client follows their project from start to finish: schedule, deliverables, updates and files. If you are already signed in, the button says "Go to the portal" and takes you straight in.
- E-commerce leads to ecommerce.almendro.cr, where you get to know the online store Almendro sets up for your business.
Electronic invoicing opens first, since it is the one most people look for. The other two are folded to the side (below it on a phone): tap one to open it and see what that service does.
Why there is no "Sign in" button
Because a single button cannot lead to three different places. Each service has its own accounts: the electronic invoicing account lives at fe.almendro.cr, the projects portal account lives at almendro.cr, and each online store has its own admin panel. An account for one service does not work for another, even with the same email.
With one general button, people looking for their invoicing reached the projects portal sign-in, which is a different service, and their account did not exist there. That is why each access now sits on its own card. To sign in, use the button on the card of the service you need.
How to sign up for electronic invoicing
Electronic invoicing has open sign-up and you start for free, in three steps:
- Create your account at fe.almendro.cr/register with your name, email and a password. The account starts on the Free plan: 10 vouchers a month, no card.
- Upload your digital signature: the cryptographic key from the tax authority, the .p12 file you download from TRIBU-CR, which is stored encrypted. If you do not have it yet, this guide to getting the key in TRIBU-CR walks you through it.
- Invoice from the portal, with no code. Your client receives the PDF and the XML.
If you already have an account, use "Sign in" on the Electronic invoicing card. The plans and what each includes are published at fe.almendro.cr, and password recovery for those accounts is done there too.
There is no sign-up for Projects
The projects portal has no open sign-up, on purpose: it is where each client follows their project with Almendro, so accounts are created according to the active projects. When your project starts, Almendro creates your company's account and the person in charge receives an email titled "Su cuenta en Almendro está lista" (your Almendro account is ready), with a button to sign in and choose a password. The link expires in 72 hours, and a password is never sent by email.
Once inside, whoever manages the account can invite other people from their team from the Users menu in the portal. If your company has a project with Almendro and you still have no access, write to info@almendro.cr or use the contact form.
What Almendro e-commerce is
It is your online store, set up and ready to sell: catalog, cart and payments with Tilopay, with electronic invoicing included. Also:
- It comes with your domain, your email and the SSL certificate, set up.
- It can be installed as an Android app (PWA), without going through an app store.
- If you wish, you can add an artificial intelligence assistant that answers your customers 24/7, 365 days a year. It is optional.
